We spent four nights at the Geelong Caravan Park on the banks of the Baron River and just down the road from the Cat's stadium. The traffic in Geelong is very heavy but everyone seems to drive sensibly. With the city being mostly rectangular grid streets, traffic lights are frequent and progress steady. One night, the nearby oil refinery had a serious fire and we were on a " watch and act". However, we slept through the whole thing.Read more
