Marine debris monitoring

Today, we accompanied University students from Manado to take samples on a heavily polluted beach near Manado. This science-based monitoring of marine litter was conducted according to the #UNEP guidelines on survey and monitoring of marine litter and is supported by the ministry of environment of Indonesia. These data are essential for measuring the scale of the problem and the effectiveness of management systems.
