Day 2 Santa Monica and Hollywood

We all had a reasonable night’s sleep and at about 8.30 went to a British Pub for breakfast and then looked through the shops at Santa Monica and back to the Pier for some souvenirs. We managed to get a 12 seater van so Jeremy is now a tour bus driver!

At about 12.30 we drove to Hollywood and walked along the Walk of Fame then had a lunch at Hollywood Burger. We then caught an official tour bus to see the houses of the stars, where famous people had stayed, Rodeo Drive, the Hollywood sign.

It’s 18th January here and my 50th birthday so Jeremy had booked a very fancy steak restaurant for dinner ‘Boa’. We had the most amazing steaks as sides, crab and black truffle gnocchi, scallops and then the waiter brought out a special Bombe Alaska for my birthday cake which was delicious!

Back to the hotel and then tomorrow we leave Santa Monica to go to Simi Hills for the meeting and then to Anaheim.Læs mere
