    Curio Bay and Fortrose

    April 15, 2024 in New Zealand ⋅ ⛅ 10 °C

We spent one night at Curio Bay which was a lovely place to stay and had so much to see and do. On one side of the campsite was a 160000000million year old forest, plus yellow eyed penguins, and on the other a lovely Bay with Hectors Dolphins. The dolphins always seemed to just be playing in the waves and jumping in the air. We saw them when we first arrived, so I put on my wetsuit and had an awesome 10minutes with them swimming and surfing around me in thigh deep water. The next day Rosie rode her bike around the woods, which she loved! We then drove to Fortrose where we did some fishing and watched an incredible sunset 😃Read more
