Lake St Clair

Woke up to a Kookaburra perched right in front of the van, watching us get ready for the Platypus Bay walk from our campsite at Lake St Clair. Rosie rode her bike the whole way including over some really tricky roots, up and down some big hills and down the odd step!
We stopped at the platypus lookout to see if we could find any but still no luck. Think we were there at the wrong time of day.
Had a snack by the lake, and enjoyed more beautiful reflections in the water. Signs nearby warned of snakes though so we were slightly on edge!
Rosie rode the last bit by being tempted along by bites of apple.
Got back to the lodge in time for lunch, then made our way to our next campsite in New Norfolk.Leia mais
