Tréport

The next stop was in the town of Le Tréport. First time to encounter the cliffs of Normandy. And Awen used the time to swim again in the ocean.
Petites Dalles daytime

After arriving in the little cottage we went for a small walk with Awen to the local beach called Petites Dalles. Even Monet and Sissi have enjoyed the beauty of this little beach.
Fécamp

While doing some shopping in the near town of Fécamp, we could vitness a beautiful sunset over the coast of Normandy.
Etretat

Probably one of the most famous places in the area is Etretat. We did a nice walk along the cliffs with a nice view on the city. And finally enjoying a romantic Picnic with a sunset over Etretat.
Veules-les-Roses

A day trip to the town of Veules-les-Roses brought us through little streets filled with flowers and rivers.
Honfleur

Another day trip took us to the 3 cities of Honfleur, Trouville and Deauville.
Petites Dalles sunset

Back home at our beach of Petites Dalles, we enjoyed a spectacular sunset.
Saint-Pierre-en-Port, France

Our last day in the area we spent hiking on the cliffs of Grandes Dalles and the town of Yport. And yes, as incredible as it sounds, swimming in the ocean in Normandie on October 12!!
D-Day Beaches

Finally, we arrived at the cap de la hague or "the end of the world". The wild nature and the rough sea really impressed us and we fell in love with this isolated piece of land.

Entre bois et falaises

A 10km hiking trip along the cliffs and forest of Flamanville took us the various vegetation and through a beautiful castle.

Last day in our Airbnb guest house

What a beautiful and sunny day. We were able to enjoy our last afternoon on our terrasse in T-shirt and admiring the amazing view. Even Awen was fascinated by the view.
Visiting Claude Monet

A quick stop on our way home brought us to the village Claude Monet lived and painted many of his famous paintings. The beautiful garden had many flowers in a variety of colors.
