Tour de Suisse with Awen

After an early start leaving home before 7am, we already arrived at the parking place of Splügen just after 8:30am. This was the start point of the first hike of our "Tour de Suisse". Along the Splügen Pass Street, we soon arrived at the Cable car station. From there it was a steady climb to the lakes of Suretta. Some Marmots welcomed us on our way up (or rather they screemed at us). Little streams could be found along the way and provided Awen with some refreshment. After the last steep climb, we arrived at the beautiful lakes, with their green color. It didn't take Awen long to jump into the cool water and to catch the ball.
2 hours later, we arrived back where we started in the morning. The track had taken us along the steep forest path down to Splügen.Read more
