Windy and Back at the Beach

The wind may be raging at 45km/hr but for the most part, they’ve been tailwinds. Richard and I soared downhill from Okere Falls back toward the east coast. We ended the day with an atrociously expensive and pitifully small bowl of kumara chips. Another reminded that most of the time it’s best to save your money and cook your own when it comes to kiwi food.

Now we’re enjoying some blessed shelter in our wee cabin for the night and restoring our energy before diving into the ocean for a swim. Joy!Read more
