80km on the highway:/

Big winds again and a lot of aggressive driving. We were being pummelled by head and side winds for the first 50km. Luckily the last 30, although hilly and narrow, were tailwinds.

Despite the honks/shouts/close passes from some angry drivers, we ended the day with smiles on our faces. Sweet cafe owners gave us cake on the house and our camp host offered us a free night’s stay—simply because she was impressed we were travelling by bike!
