Great Ocean Rd to Eyre Peninsu

Back on the road to Parkes today with lots of interesting sites and towns along the way. Great silo art at Weethale, zoom in and have a look at the sheep in the top window, driving past at 1st it actually looked like sheep up there, Weethale was pretty much a ghost town with lots of abandoned and derelict buildings with the only one operating being a old house / cafe called "Road Kill Grillz" with wacky animal statues out the front, so needless to say we didn't stop there and eat 🙄, have seen lots of emus in these parts, have to really watch the roads (speaking of roadkill). Stopped at a great little bakery in West Wyalong for smoko and on through Forbes and finally Parkes, the home of Elvis lovers, nice neat little town, lots of heritage. Very cool/cold and bleak here tonight, just set up and bunkered down for the night, head through to Armidale tomorrow 🙂En savoir plus
