Beitou

Visited Beitou. 30 min by MRT from Taipei. It is quite popular because of the thermal activities and a lot if hot springs. I visited a Hot Spring Museum which was in this ancient Japanese Onsen building and surrounded by a beautiful park. After lunch I visited the Thermal Valley which was nice but it was already so hot outside that the hot sulfur steam was a bit too much.
In general I find it really difficult to eat in Taiwan because the restaurant are all (even MacDonalds) full, totally cramped with people. And the food is quite expensive and not really goodOkumaya devam et
