The stone blocks were set in place with various size gaps to accommodate the movement of the earth only to strengthen the structure as time went on. Brilliant construction.

VoyageurI always think that people before didn’t know much but then you have engineering like this and you have to think about what they knew in comparison to us now and they created these!! Whoa!! They were amazingly smart!!!

Whoa! In comparison the Sphinx is waaayyy smaller than the pyramid! And the Sphinx is huge! I can’t imagine what it’s like to see in person
VoyageurOh yea, a fraction of the size. And it looks much different from one Pyramid to another but in actually on 20 feet difference in hight.
