Day 3 - Petrified Forest National Park

Had time so added another National Park. Enjoyed walking around. Is basically a scenic drive from either North or South entrances of park, roughly 26 miles. Lots of pull-offs and trail options. Took one that ended up connecting to another trail that led down into the canyon which was neat. After talking to the ranger guess you can go about 10 miles out and even camp with permit. Considered it briefly but was over 100 degrees and no shade out there.Leer más
