Seligman- Route 66

Stopped for the night before our hike in at the Historic Route 66 Motel. Was supposed to stay at Grand Caverns Inn further down and where we checked in for our hike and got our wristbands, but they had a water pipe break and had to cancel our reservation.

We had a late lunch at a great little Cafe across the street and explored the shops in the town dealing with Route 66 memorabilia. Even the hotel was themed to Route 66.

Made it an early night as we want to be at the trailhead at 5 to start hike in and it is a 90 minute drive from here.Read more
