Yum...the local market

We head out again to check for ferries. The port is again closed and the tourist information (which we discovered closed yesterday) was closed again this morning, we were told it would open at 10am...however we returned after 10am and found it was still closed.

The advantage of this is the local market which is on the way to the port. We stop in again today and it was just as lively as yesterday. Today we saw the chicken corner, more fresh fruit and vegetables sellers, lots of fresh and dried fish too. We bought some spices (which we can hopefully get through customs in Oz), and enjoyed the sweet cool Es Campur drink (sweet drink with jellies and bread pieces and ice).Читать далее
