State Side Again - Lake Chelan, WA

It was a very short drive to the border from Christina Lake and a smooth crossing. The drive through the US version of the Okanogan was scenic and yielded some good apples as we followed the Columbia River through a few lake districts. Lake Chelan was really impressive and our Harvest Host stop offered great vineyard views and lots of space to set up camp. After the traditional KD feast (somehow this has become a thing at our Harvest Hosts stops) we headed to the winery for some vino, live music and wood fired pizza. The 2017 Cab-franc was a hit, but Weston managed to find some dog poop in front of the stage 💩. When the winery closed we returned to the deck to catch the dying light and spotted Starlink.
