Turtle Point, Gili T

Our final afternoon on Gili T consisted of more snorkelling, this time just off the beach at Turtle Point where it was no surprise we saw loads of sea turtles again. We then left for the west side once more for sunset and enjoyed a BBQ fish to dinner. Afterwards we cycled back to the east side looking for a decent bar but chose to sit on beanbags and listen to live music on the sand. It was so nice to lay back and relax for a couple of hours.

We have absolutely loved our stay on the Gili islands which have offered a real slice of paradise. After Gili T we leave for Lombok for our final few days in Indonesia. The realisation is starting to hit home that the end of our trip is very quickly approaching.Read more
