Thomas Jefferson and VA Beach

We went to Thomas Jefferson's house in Charlottesville VA. We learned about the people who lived there, including enslaved people. We couldn't go inside because I was with them and for some reason, dogs aren't allowed inside. I'm a nice dog and I'm clean too! They should have made an exception for me! Mike and I have to walk 1/2 a mile up the mountain side. Regina took a shuttle. We stopped be Jefferson's grave. The cemetery is owned by descendants and is still an active cemetery. If you are a descendant, you can be buried there.
Then we headed to Virginia Beach. We went to Aunt Martha's and then we took a walk on the boardwalk. There is a gigantic statue of Neptune! I got to walk in the sand for a bit. Everyone had stopped at Starbucks and I got to finish off a vanilla bean frappe. Then they took me home to eat my dinner. The humans went out to a restaurant called Dockside.
