Ko Lanta - Day 3

Today's start was later than hoped so we didn't quite explore the whole island but we started off by driving to the old town where most of the buildings were built up on stilts. From here, we continued south and stopped at a little beach and had a drink. After this, we went on to bamboo beach where we passed a lot of wild monkeys just crossing the road, chilling and playing. The sea at bamboo beach was a great swimming beach and so peaceful with nothing in the distance and no boats. We headed in the opposite direction after to go to long beach hoping for a Nice sunset on the beach, however, it was very cloudy and started to drizzle. As we were over on that side of the island, I took the opportunity to go to dreamy spa for a wax whilst Tom had a foot massage. We went to angels restaurant as it was open thankfully and the rasta man did warn us that it woukd be an hours wait for food as its only his wife cooking and everything is home made. 1 hour turned into 2 and several beanie rounds later our food finally came and my curry noodles were delightful.
