Singapore - Haji Lane & Raffles

We got a grab to Haji Lane which looked cooler than Hosier Lane in Melbourne. We had a walk along the lane which was filled with some cool bars, bakeries and shops.

We went to the French bakery and got a cookie and a pastry which were much appreciated when we got to the airport and we were starving! We then took shelter in the Mexican for a happy hour corona and air con.

We walked from here to Raffles hotel, whilst debating if we should go in or not considering the high prices! Once there, we decided we had to go in. The hotel is like a resort with everything! We queued up for the long bar where I got a Singapore sling for 39 dollars and Tom got a apricot and milk punch for 29 dollars! Ridiculous prices but at least they were actually delicious! We had a bag of peanuts on the table, and everyone throws the shells onto the floor.Read more
