    Little swim for Gaëtan 😅

    On a tourné dans un chemin de gravier qui menait vers la mer sur notre chemin, et on a trouvé cette petite plage sans personne. Gaëtan est allé nager 😅

    Rented a room for the night 😁

    Aujourd'hui, on a décidé de réserver une chambre pour la nuit. Quand nous sommes arrivés, c'était une sorte d'hôtel juste derrière les dunes et à quelques minutes à pieds de la plage, et la dame nous a laissé choisir notre chambre. On a demandé la plus proche de la salle de bain commune, et elle a dit d'aller jeter un coup d'oeil à l'étage et de choisir celle qu’on voulait 😅 Alors j'ai demandé s'il serait possible d'avoir la 11, qui est la Master room, mais elle était si belle, que je voulais vraiment celle-là hahaha ! Elle m'a dit que c'était ok pour cette fois, mais que c'était exceptionnel, et parce qu’on ne reste qu'une nuit 😅 Hihi on a eu la meilleure avec la meilleure vue, et le meilleur lit ! Hahaha
    On a payé 49€
    (Gaëtan s’est baigné à nouveau, mais l’eau était apparement plus froide que la précédente 😅)

    Today we decided to book a room for the night. When we arrived, it was kind of an hotel right behind the dunes and a few minutes walk from to the beach, and the lady let us choose our room. We asked for the closest one to the shared bathroom, and she said to go have a look upstairs and choose the one we wanted 😅 So I asked if it would be possible to have the 11, which is the master bedroom but it was soooo nice, that I really wanted that one hahaha ! She said it’s ok for this time, but it’s exceptional, and because we’re only staying 1 night 😅 Hihi we got the best one with the best views, and the best bed ! Hahaha We paid 49€
    (Gaëtan went again for a swim, but the water was apparently colder than the previous one 😅)    Leggi altro

    Thy National Park

    On a fait une grande promenade autour de ce parc national, qui était notre 12ème point d’intérêt. Ce qui est triste, c'est que c'est très beau et parfait pour la tranquillité des animaux, mais comme dans beaucoup d'autres parcs nationaux où nous sommes allés, ils coupent les arbres et chassent les cerfs...
    Je ne comprends pas bien comment un Parc National qui se dit être une zone protégée pour la protection de la végétation et des animaux, peut en même temps couper les arbres et tuer les animaux qu'ils "protègent" ? !!! 🤔
    Ils stipulent aussi que pendant la reproduction, ils ferment certains chemins pour que les animaux puissent se reproduire sans être dérangés... mais ensuite ils disent aussi qu'après cette période, ils ferment certains chemins parce que c'est la saison de la chasse et que c'est dangereux... 🤨 Qu'est-ce qu'ils essaient de protéger en réalité ? Les animaux, ou la quantité d'animaux qu'ils pourraient tuer ? ?

    We went on a huge walk around this National Park which was our 12th point of interest. The sad thing is, it’s very beautiful and perfect for the quietness of the animals, but just as for many other National Parks where we’ve been, they cut down trees and hunt the deers…
    I don’t quite understand how can a National Park that claims to be a protected area for the protection of the vegetation and the animals, can at the same time cut down trees and kill the animals they’re “protecting” ?!! 🤔
    They also stipulate that during the reproduction, they are closing down some paths so that the animals can reproduce without being disturbed… but then they also say that after that period, they close down some paths because it’s hunting season and dangerous… 🤨 What are they actually trying to protect ??     Wholefood café

    Pouhaaaaa ! !! On est venu ici pour dîner car on avait lu des avis très positifs sur cet endroit... Mais qu’est-ce que c'était cher ! !! 😳 On a pris tous les deux des Nachos parce qu'on ne peut normalement pas se tromper avec ce repas... C'était 10,10€/pièce...
    Mais punaise... Quand on a eu les Nachos sur la table j'ai été VRAIMENT déçue !!! En gros, elle a juste versé 1 paquet de "Doritos" dans une assiette, un avocat écrasé, 4 tranches de pommes de terre douces mal cuites, un tout petit peu de sauce tomate, et quelques morceaux d'oignons rouges et de poivrons ! C'est quoi ça ?? Les Nachos sont normalement des haricots rouges, du maïs, du guacamole, de la sour cream, de la sauce salsa, et du fromage fondu sur des Doritos chauds. Dans notre cas, tout cela en alternatives Vegan bien sûr !
    Ici c’était vraiment du foutage de gueule ! La dame n'était même pas gentille... Seul l'endroit était superbement décoré !

    Pouhaaaaa !! We came here to have a nice lunch because we read some very nice reviews about this place… But expensive was it !! 😳 We both took the Nachos because you can’t get it wrong with this meal… It was 10,10€/each…
    Holy fuck… When we got the Nachos on the table I got REALLY disappointed !! Basically, she just poured 1 pack of “Doritos” in a plate, a mashed avocado, 4 slices of badly cooked sweet potatoes, a tiny bit of tomato sauce, and some pieces of red onions and capsicum ! What the hell ?? Nachos are meant to be Kidney beans, corn, guacamole, sour cream, salsa sauce, and cheese melting on some warm Doritos… In our case obviously all of this Vegan !
    This was just taking the piss out of people 😤! The lady wasn’t even nice… Only the place was very beautifully decorated !    Leggi altro

    9th Camp site

    Qui dit mieux ? 🤪 On est face à la mer, dans un endroit ultra calme, sans personne, et rien d’autre que le chant des mouettes et le son des vagues…
    On a marché jusqu’à la pointe de l’île de Fur depuis notre campement, et on voulait prendre une photo de nous deux. Gaëtan était entrain de préparer son appareil photo, et je m’avançait devant l’appareil pour qu’il me dise ou me mettre. Je fais un petit saut, et en me retournant, quelle ne fut pas ma surprise de voir la petite tête toute mignonne d’un phoque, qui me regardait en nageant dans les vagues !!! 🤗🤩 Mais impossible de prendre une photo avec l’iPhone, et Gaëtan n’avait pas son objectif télé avec lui 😢!
    Du coup on a couru à la voiture pour aller le chercher, dans l’espoir que quand on revienne, le phoque soit toujours là… Mais la marche était tellement longue qu’à notre retour, il avait disparu…
    Moment MAGIQUE quand même, que je n’oublierai pas ! 🥰🥰🥰
    On a aussi trouvé plein d’étoiles de mer le long de la plage… Tellement triste 😢 On en a repris 3 en souvenir, mais la plage en était bondée… les pauvres 😞

    Who can beat that? 🤪 We're facing the sea, in an ultra quiet place, with no one around, and nothing but the sound of the seagulls and the waves...
    We walked to the tip of Fur Island from our camp, and we wanted to take a picture of the two of us. Gaëtan was getting his camera ready, and I was walking in front of the camera so that he could tell me where to stand. I took a little jump, and as I turned around, what a surprise to see the cute little head of a seal, looking at me while swimming in the waves!!! 🤗🤩 But impossible to take a picture with the iPhone, and Gaëtan didn't have his 150-600mm lens with him 😢!
    So we ran to the car to get it, hoping that when we would be back, the seal would still be there... But the walk was so long that when we came back, it had disappeared...
    MAGICAL moment though, one I won't forget! 🥰🥰🥰
    We also found plenty of starfish along the beach... So sad 😢 We took 3 of them as a souvenir, but the beach was packed with them... poor things 😞    Leggi altro

    Fur - Volcanic and Fossil Island

    C'est notre 13ème point d'intérêt.
    Fur est une île tout à fait unique et l'une des plus belles du Danemark.
    On y découvre les débuts de l'histoire du Danemark à travers les couches visibles de cendres volcaniques et d'argile molaire (moler), un sédiment très rare que l'on ne trouve que dans la région du Limfjord. Le paysage de moler de Fur est candidat à l'inscription sur la liste du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO.

    Fur is an utterly unique island and one of the most beautiful in Denmark.
    Here we get an insight into Denmark’s early history in visible layers of volcanic ash and mo-clay (moler), a very rare sediment found only in the Limfjord region. Fur's moler landscape is a candidate for inscription on the UNESCO World Heritage List.    Leggi altro

    Fur - Volcanic and Fossil Island

    Très joli ☺️ On a fait une longue promenade sur la plage ici à Fur. Ce que vous voyez sur les photos sont des falaises de diatomite riches en fossiles au nord de l'île qui se sont formées il y a 55 millions d'années.
    La petite île est constituée de nombreuses couches de cendres volcaniques et d'une sorte d'argile spéciale appelée moler.
    Le long de la côte nord-ouest et dans les nombreuses carrières d'argile, les couches sont clairement visibles et forment des formations étranges et magnifiques. L'île est également un excellent endroit pour trouver des fossiles.

    Very nice ☺️ We had a long walk on the beach here at Fur. What you see on the photos are fossil-rich diatomite cliffs on the north of the island that formed 55 million years ago.
    The tiny island consist of many layers of volcanic ash and a special kind of clay called moler.
    Along the north-western coast and in the many clay pits the layers are clearly visible making strange and beautiful formations. The island is also an excellent place for finding fossils.    Leggi altro

    10th Camp site

    Ce sera notre dernier campement au Danemark, et c'est un endroit pourri 😅 On a mis une éternité pour trouver un endroit où s’installer, et le "camping" ici est interdit... Mais on ne "campe" pas, on dort dans la voiture 🚙 PAS la même chose hahaha 😅.

    Wadden Sea - Windmill

    C’était censé être notre 14th and last point of interest. On est venus ici sur l'île de Mando pour voir le banc de sable, mais ce n’était vraiment pas photogénique 😅.
    A la place, voici un joli moulin à vent 😅
    Pour arriver ici, on a dû passer par une route de 7kms de long qui n'est accessible qu'à marée basse. C'était un peu stressant car on ne savait pas que c'était une route qui dépendait des marées haha 😬.

    It was meant to be our 14th and last point of interest. We came here on Mando Island to check out the sandbank, but it was really not photogenic 😅
    Here is a cute windmill instead 😅
    To get here we had to go through a 7kms long road that is only accessible at low tide. It was a bit stressful because we didn’t know that it was a road subject to tides haha 😬    Leggi altro

    Mando Island way back

    On était un peu inquiets pour le retour parce qu’après avoir vérifié sur internet, on a découvert que la marée haute serait à 11h17, mais ça ne nous a pas pris trop de temps pour explorer les choses qu’on voulait explorer, on a donc eu le temps de retourner sur l’île principale et de prendre quelques photos en chemin.

    We were a little concerned about the way back as after checking on the internet, we found out that the high tide would be at 11:17am, but it didn’t take us too long to explore the stuff we wanted to explore, so we had time to get back to the mainland and take some photos on the way.
