Day 48: Venice to Bologna

Enjoyed our last proper shower. Shopped and the clouds were black. Managed to avoid most of the rain. Ate lunch at a big green hotel in a suburb of Ferrara. It was so nice we each had three courses. I wasn’t keen on grahams eel. Take that as you will. Parked in Bologna and bussed to central. Immediately we didn’t like the feel of this place. Eventually found the more likable part of “old town” and had drinks in the square listening to live music.Read more
