Day 49: Bologna to Cervia

We wanted to leave Bologna ‘cos we didn’t like it but instead decided to investigate the countryside chasing Castles. Two down travelling through dangerously small roads. I made Graham hunt for the one I wanted to go to which turned out to be a monastery. Excellent views of the city. Had an awesome dinner on the way to the beach town of Cervia. Looked around the area once parked and thought we were in Cony Island. Not my cup of tea. May only stay for a quick swim on the beach of a thousand umbrellas. Later that night a bazillion teenage kids rocked up for what smelled like schoolies. We got out of Dodge real quick and ended up sleeping up the road at Ravenna.Read more
