Rainy day and 떡볶이

It was a rainy day today, and everything went south 🤨 But to comfort us, we went eating 떡볶이 (tteokbokki), rice cakes with spicy sauce, fish cakes and cheese at a small Korean shop. The owner knows are good friends with our internship master. It was delicious ! Usually it is drank with rice wine, 막걸리 but this time they were out of it 😭
This is also the time to learn some conversational Korean and bad words (not really) : 구라쟁이 = professional liar. If you add 쟁이 as a suffix it means “professional” so with 구라 = lie, it means “professional liar”. Useful expressions !!Read more
