Welcome to Bangkok

Nach einem entspannten Flug (Fenster gucken, schlafen, essen, lesen, schlafen, lesen, essen, Fenster gucken) habe ich auf dem Flughafen noch ein paar Grundbedürfnisse befriedigt - WLAN, Pippi, Wasser, Cash, eSIM. Dann ging es mit dem Airport Railway Link und der Metro in die Stadt (mein Herz machte einen Hüpfer, als ich endlich wieder Bananen-Pflanzen beim Fenster gucken sehen konnte😍) und meine erste Unterkunft. Die habe ich zum Glück am Flughafen noch schnell gebucht um eine erste Anlaufstelle zu haben.

Und das war die beste Wahl! Hier ist es einfach so schön, ein tolles Flair. Habe mich kurz fresh gemacht (aber vergessen dass nach dem duschen vor dem duschen ist: Temperatur um 7:30 - 29 Grad), plane jetzt bei einem tollen Frühstück ein wenig die kommenden Tage und schau mal was der Tag noch so bringt.

Aktuell liebe ich alles daran, wieder in Asien zu sein: die Menschen, das Essen, das Flair, die Wärme, die Hunde, das bunte Treiben auf den Straßen, das Barfuß-Sein🥹 nur an meinem Thai muss ich noch arbeiten.😅

Happiness-Status: 8/10 (aber auch nur, weil ich noch Platz nach oben lassen muss).

After a relaxed flight (looking out the window, sleeping, eating, reading, sleeping, reading, eating, looking out the window) I satisfied a few basic needs at the airport - WiFi, pee, water, cash, eSIM. Then I took the Airport Railway Link and the metro into the city (my heart skipped a beat when I could finally see banana plants looking out the window again😍) and to my first accommodation. Luckily I booked it quickly at the airport FRA so I had a first point of contact.

And that was the best choice! It's just so beautiful here, a great atmosphere. I freshened up quickly (but forgot that after showering is before showering: temperature at 7:30 - 29 degrees), now I'm planning the coming days a little over a great breakfast and see how the day will go so far.

At the moment I love everything about being back in Asia: the people, the food, the atmosphere, the warmth, the dogs, the hustle and bustle on the streets, being barefoot🥹 I just need to work on my Thai.😅
