Chuck CookNo the whistle (an extremely loud and shrill whistle) was a fire alarm, I think. It was painfully loud and lasted for half an hour. We will be in stateroom 3006. We have cruised on Polaris before, but not in that room.
GezginGlad the fire alarm has stopped. May that be the end of unexpected uncomfortable surprises. Hope all the other surprises are breathtakingly beautiful. Enjoy the trip and looking forward to hearing more stories!
