There is a famous road that goes around the perimeter of the Monterey Peninsula known as the Seventeen-Mile Drive. The road winds through several of the most famous golf courses in the world, through some of the most exclusive neighborhoods in North America and through some of the most beautiful scenery in the world.

When we were living here, we couldn’t afford it. Every time we have come back to visit, however, we have made a point to travel this beautiful roadway.

The only other place that I remember that may match the beauty of Seventeen-Mile Drive is the Italian coastline that goes south from Sorrento to Positano. We took our time and we took some photos, which we hope you will enjoy.
