Final thoughts from Jessica…

I love going away with the girls on mini adventures like this as there are no other times in our lives that we are just hanging out like this. It may also be the last holiday with all of us as Lily and Ruby get older and too cool to hang out with their parents. But at the moment they still seem to want to hang out with us so we will take all we can get. I love seeing them all together as well and how they all get on and how much love they have for each other. Yes they argue and make jokes about each other and get annoyed with each other but most of the time they just really like and love each other. This is very special for me. I love being so intensely together all the time that I notice their little traits and the things that make them so amazing in my eyes. Olivia’s kind and diplomatic heart as well as her dance moves and comedic style. Olivia is the calm in the storm but will also not take unfairness and if Olivia is upset you know you’re in the wrong. Lily’s unique style and exceptional make up skills and her fiery temper and loving nature and the way she always says a little hello mummy on a regular basis just to make sure I know she is there and of course her amazing Casswell genes cooking abilities and the fact she is not a morning person if woken up in some annoying way. Allegra’s strong character and exceptional timing and comedy style. She made us all laugh and also a little scared at times if she was not in the best mood. But she would always have a smile for everyone. Ruby loves to sing and dance and thinks we don’t love her dancing style when we do and we also love her singing. In fact me and Paul look forward to our daily concert of guitar and piano covers of Taylor Swift and Gracie Abrams songs and we are going to miss this very much when she moves to Paris. And of course it would not be justified to not mention the amazing writing skills. This trip has been a special one with both me and Paul consciously trying to be more present in life (living in the now). So you notice more and worry less and this has been one of the best as a result. From a young age we traveled with them and this has paid off as we are so comfortable together as a result in any space, situation and setting. If I had my way we would be nomads all day everyday, but life moves forward and they will move on to have their own adventures and although I will miss them greatly I am soooo proud of who they are and are becoming as they amaze me everyday. But I hope they keep travelling with us for years to come and here’s to our next adventure in 2026 which they have all agreed to as a 50th birthday present for me. Watch this space xxx. Paul is also amazing in that he organised all of this. The accommodation, cars, ferries and made this all happen so smoothly. I know in the blogs he makes out like it’s me doing everything but this is not the case. He also keeps a smile on our face with his comedy and sarcasm. There is clearly so much love from Paul for all of us everyday and we are very very lucky to have this in our lives, so thank you Pavlos for making this life a reality for our family.
