Mum (Rusty) wanted to head back to Deer Lake to meet up with a few of her siblings so we offered to drive her there and back. Should be a 3-4 week long trip. Leggi altro

    Tickets are booked!

    Just finished booking our tickets on the Marine Atlantic ferry heading out from North Sydney, NS to Port Aux Basques, Nfld. No cabins were available and no comfy seats could be booked. We plan to arrive as early as we can and then try and get 3 comfy seats for the overnight crossing. Should be a long night after 2 hard days of driving.Leggi altro

    No Covid testing for us

    I just finished scanning the websites for all the Atlantic provinces and for Quebec and none require that we get Covid testing... Yeah! We all had our 2nd shots last April and for this trip see no reason to have any concerns. We will still wear masks as appropriate and stay 6' away from most people but we are doing lots of visiting with family and close friends so there will be some hugging. What can you do.
