Plitvice Lakes & off to Slovenia

Today we got to the Plitvice Lakes early as we'd heard it gets real busy once the tourist buses arrive. So we were on the boardwalks before 8. Was a great walk around both lakes, & the national park is set up real well. It's a world heritage site & gets 1.5 million visitors a year - the most visited place in Croatia, just to give you an idea! So we were just leaving late morning as the crowds were arriving. Then we had a 4.5 hr drive to Slovenia to Lake Bled where we are staying for our last 3 nights in Europe.Read more
