Newcastle to Manly

We woke up and didn't have a very good night's sleep. It also rained a good bit during the night. We found a area of astro turf to do our stretches before our run. My hip started to act up so I didn't get to run as much as I thought I would have. Jake ran far though.
We then drove to the Bogey hole and got in. It was quite cold but was one of the nicest rock pools we have been in. Then we drove to the Ocean baths where the showers are. When I was on the way back to the van I seen dolphins in the distance. Then Jake came out and we decided to send out the drone. They were all playing it was really cool to see. Just as we were finished watching them we saw the lifeguard with a big net in the pool at the ocean baths and she was taking out a huge deaf octopus. It was mad looking.
Then we went to the shopping centre as the weather was quite overcast. We left out our towels to dry and it lasheddd while we were in the shopping centre so they got soaked!
We put them in the van and set off for Manly. The weather was really bad the whole way. We arrived in Manly in the evening. We got a thai for dinner which should have cost $48 but he accidently charged us $4.80 so we were buzzed over that. We parked at Curl Curl beach for the night.Leer más
