Day 8 Kingshouse to Kinlochleven

Only 8.5 miles today ,stunning scenery, seemed like Switzerland. We climbed Devils staircase,a zig zag path rising to 1797ft ,the highest point on the west highland way . Boulder strewn paths made our progress slow, it must be far more challenging in wet weather. The hotel is lovely and Cathy and I each have our own room tonight.
We hope to go and see a local waterfall later.. It was over 20 degrees today !!!Leggi altro
