Day 2 Mountains of Morne

I made use of the hotel pool early this morning,as well as jaccussi and steam room.
We had a great breakfast too,Jon enjoyed the cooked option!
Set off to Newcastle County Down,nestled by the mountains of Morne as they sweep into the sea. It was raining as we left the hotel but as we arrived at the sea the mist had lifted and rain stopped.
Unfortunately the coach broke the back window reversing into carpark, a bit of drama!
We enjoyed the seaside I had ice cream and a paddle ...had to air dry feet.The mountains didn't disappoint, highest in Ireland. I didn't have time to climb.
After a few hours boarded the cardboarded backwindow coach ,went to Downpatrick. Place where Saint Patrick was supposedly buried. He brought Christianity to Ireland in Roman times ,quite interesting. The coach travels quite a lot of miles every day but it's interesting places and we enjoy them .Weiterlesen
