    We headed off early to the market to buy food for our cooking class. Rifa and her driver took us to a market that has only been open about a year and apparently we were the first westerners to visit because the security made a big fuss of us and insisted on a group photo before we went into the market and we had 2 guards accompany us.

    The girls were split into 2 groups and each person had an item they had to bargain for (with a bit of help from the lady who was taking the cooking class and Ibu Turnley, Bu Hinchey and Rifa). Ingredients included vegetables and spices. The girls were amazingly brave and entered into the spirit of market shopping.
