    Two parts to the day again today. Rocks and Caves. First we had to get to the rocks. Left our spot in Ealing in cold foggy mist and headed towards Porters Pass stopping at Shefield for a couple of their famous pies, then Springfield for a photo of the donut. Spotted the old engine thing chugging along heading to Ashburton for the Wheat and Wheels festival. By the time we got to Kura Tawhiti conservation area the sun was shining and we were able to join the throng of tourists walking among the rock formation. Schist Rock in Alexander and lime stone here.
