Yesturday we arrived in Santiago. I learned why we have duplicate city names in the America. Santiago, San Francisco and Los Angeles. It's because missionary monks went from Spain and named those places after home. Anyway we had a couple of stops along the way. I couldn't resist a photo of this gorgeous Carousel. Next stop was for lunch at a beautiful modern city with a huge harbour much like our viaduct area on steroids. Also the light house is apparently the world's oldest. We are staying in a wonderful old monestry converted into a very nice hotel. Our rooms would have been the monks cells..Läs mer
