    ARRIVED BACK IN THE UK🫶🏼🇬🇧

    After 7 months of non stop travelling we arrived back to our little home in Bedworth. What a lovely feeling to be able to have our own room, shower, toilet and bed. We’ve never slept better then the first night back in our own bed. We got straight back into our little life, I started working at the pub again, we went back to the gym, caught up with all our friends and got back to cricket. Life is goodLeggi altro

    DOLOMITES (best time of our lives)

    Well, well, well I think this will be a hard adventure to beat. Camping and hiking for 4 days in the most beautiful picturesque landscape we have ever come across. Eating simple foods, enjoying time off the grid, exploring the natural surroundings and vibing our way through it all. How lucky were we to be able to experience this place. And get engaged here.     Passo Giau, THE DAY I BECAME A FIANCE

    Will woke me up at 6am made us coffees and insisted we walk over in the freezing cold to take some sunrise pictures. Little did I know he was about to propose. BEST DAY EVER, what a beautiful morning. We had a slow morning calling family back home, drinking coffee, eating breakfast and being loved up. I couldn’t love this man more if I tried.Leggi altro

    MOSTAR 🇧🇦🌁🍺

    We arrived in Mostar very early after a gruelling 16hr bus ride from Venice. We started our day by walking around trying to figure out where things were without internet or maps and waiting for a cafe or supermarket to open. At 8am a cafe opened and will and I sat and enjoyed a cappuccino each for €3 for both, slay. We then did a 2hr long walking tour, which was interesting but complex. We tried some local pastry’s, had a icecream at 1pm then had a nap. Followed by some sunset beers and people watching. What a beautiful place this isLeggi altro

    KOTOR 🇲🇪🍻🌊👯‍♀️

    28 set–1 ott 2024, Montenegro ⋅ ☀️ 26 °C

    Caught a 6hr bus to Kotor from Mostar, checked into our hostel and then cracked into playing a large game of Cambio. We went on a pub crawl, got absolutely saturated from the down poor, sat on the balcony and ate chips and slept like baby’s. The next day we went for a swim, chilled on the beach, explored the old town, went the the cat park and cat museum and had pasta for lunch. Will hiked up to the old fortress with Angus and co and I had a nap with a migraine. The hostel we’re staying at is so fun, it’s such a vibe and there’s so many mutual friends with friends of ours.     Perast 🇲🇪🌊🌞

    Will and I went to Perast pronounced per-ash-t for a little day trip. We caught the bus from Kotor and had a wonder around. It’s a beautiful seaside town in the other side of the bay from Kotor, there’s lots of fancy hotels and restaurants. 3km from here is where they age wine at the bottom of the sea. We walked around the town, went for a swim and had a chill in the sun. A beautiful day.Leggi altro

    SKÖDER 🇦🇱🍺🌞✨

    2–4 ott 2024, Albania ⋅ ☀️ 24 °C

    We arrived in Shkodër after a 6hr bus ride and 2 passport controls. Got to the ‘Galley Hostel’ checked in and then hired some bikes and rode to the Mesi Bridge and went for a swim and sunbake. We followed that up with riding to the castle and hiking the side of the mountain where we came across two native tortoises mating 😂😂. After our adventures we went to the most amazing seafood restaurant called fish art, demolished our body weight in sea food, got a bit wine drunk and then headed to the hostel irish theme pub crawl, which ended very messily. The following days after that was raining, but we made do and napped, ate at another amazing resturant called ‘Puri’ and had the most incredible traditional Albanian meals. Will had the fathers rice and baked ricotta and I had goulash and bruschetta.Leggi altro

    VALBÖNE -> THETH HIKE (arrival day)

    4–5 ott 2024, Albania ⋅ 🌫 17 °C

    We started our morning at 5:30am getting up and meeting Angus and our driver outside our hostel, we were then driven 2hrs away to the river, where we were smuggled on like sardines onto this small boat in torrential rain being protected by some sheets of plastic. After a gruelling 2.5hr boat ride we arrived on land and had another 1 hr bus to our guesthouse in VALBONE. Once off the bus we soon realised we had to cross a massive river that had recently formed from the torrential rain. It was cold, everything was soaking wet but we finally made it to our guest house. A beautiful cosy cottage where everything they make and eat is from the land they live on. We napped for a couple hours, then did some crosswords and then had the most glorious dinner. We drank homemade wine and raki and played multiple hours of cambio with a new friend we had made who was also staying at the guest house named kate. We finally went to bed after spending the evening talking and sharing story’s about our adventures, all super keen for tomorrows big hike.Leggi altro

    MOALBOAL 🐠🐚🦀🏝️

    Moalboal was unreal, struggled the first two days with the Typhoone and the weather but it got better and better after that, we snorkelled heaps, ate some unreal Filipino food and drank heaps of cheap drinks. Swam with the whale sharks, made friends with some lit French Canadian girls and met up with clausen and sally. We hired motorbikes and went to the white beach and got silly sunburnt oops.Leggi altro

    SIQUIJOR 🇵🇭🏝️

    Headed to siquijor with riz and sally, spent each night enjoying happy hour cocktails at Marco Polo, had an and invasion in our room, explored the waterfalls, went and got some healing done in the mountains, drove the scooters around to some of the most amazing beaches ever! Saw some unreal sunsets, amazing sea life, had some great food some wonderful wholesome time playing cards! We also did a day trip to Apo island where Will and I saw turtles for the first time, absolutely amazing, they were so beautiful. This was such a wonderful island, the vibe here was sure pure, it’s felt magical.Leggi altro

    CORON 🐠🐡

    Flew in from siquijor and landed at 7:45am, we powered through and joined a last minute snorkelling trip that left at 8:30am and thank god we did!! It was beautiful some of the bluest waters we have ever seen. The sea life was like no other! We ended up befriending some South Africans and went out with them to a kareoke bar and got way way to silly, the next day we spent the day by the pool applying for jobs and tanning then decided last minute to sign up for a 3D2N island hopping tour to get to el nido instead of getting the ferry, thank god we did!Leggi altro

    CORON -> ELNIDO ISLAND HOPPING

    5–7 nov 2024, Filippine ⋅ ☀️ 29 °C

    Spent 3 days in the most beautiful place we have ever seen, on a boat with 10 other travellers sailing from island to island, we had an absolute blast. Days filled with tanning, napping, card games, snorkelling, swimming and great food. Nights filled with strong 80% Gin and Rum, minky monkey, fires dogs and sunsets and beach huts. This was such an impulse trip but one we are so glad to have gone on, the attitude was, when are we ever gonna have the opportunity to do this again, so we did it!Leggi altro

    NINH BINH DAY TRIP

    Got up super early and headed to Ninh Binh to explore the sights. We got the bus from Hanoi at 6am (still drunk) and sat on it for about 3.5hrs, got to the first stop and rode some bikes around a heap of different temples. Learnt about the rich history and how to be respectful of the culture. Had an all you can eat buffet lunch, got some ‘protective wear’ for our boat ride in the river and through the caves. The pointy hat is to protect our heads from hitting the very low caves. Then on the last stop we hiked up to the top of the lookout, it was beautiful, breath taking, mostly because of the stair but also because of the sights and very high up!     HANOI 🇻🇳

    10–13 nov 2024, Vietnam ⋅ ☁️ 31 °C

    Touched down in Hanoi in the very early hours of the morning, napped, did a walking tour with the sweetest guy ever, he took us to a cafe he loves and we tried sticky rice and a lovely ice tea. We then had some bahn mis, coffee and got ready for white night, we ABSOLUTLEY sent it. Ended up at a cheap beer place where beers were 10,000 VND / 0.60$. The city of Hanoi is chaotic and crazy but it’s so beautiful as well. The culture, the people, the food, everything was amazing.Leggi altro

    HAI GAING LOOP 🛵🗻🍶🎉

    HOLY MOLY this was single handidly the best thing we did as part of this trip! 4 days of chaos, falling inlove with our easy riders, drinking “happy water” eating an amazing variety of food, driving on very sketchy “roads” throughout the Vietnamese mountains and struggling with horrendous hangovers. Days were spent in the sun cruising and taking in the views with the best crew and nights were spent playing cambio, doing kareoke, drinking happy water and dancing.     HA LONG BAY CRUISE

    16–17 nov 2024, Vietnam ⋅ ☁️ 27 °C

    Arrived back in Hanoi from the Hai Giang Loop and went straight into another tour on Ha long Bay. This was a much different change of pace, it was relaxed and beautiful, much less chaos. We saw millions of crabs and lots of little/large rock formations, did a cooking class on the boat and swam in the dirty water. Then went to bed early and got a great night sleep with a proper shower. Absolutely unreal scenes.Leggi altro
