Day 1 continued...

It is fun to see the blue 'Way of the Abbey' markers scattered along the road. It helps us to know we are on track. Today we walked within 3 KM of the Canada/US border crossing. We also discovered a little resting place for pilgrims, and as we took a break, the person who provided the area came out to chat with us.
