Rotorua

Amazing day. Woke up at Lake Taupo. No clouds, so could see the volcanoes that we had visited on Day 16. Yesterday, they weren't visible.
Headed off to Rotorua. Another beautiful lake, with some beautiful black swans.
Then we did a guided tour of Whakarewarewa village. So strange how people live, not knowing if their home could just disappear, I had corn on the cob cooked in Parakohuru, a small expanse of water that is approx 92C. The tour guide was very clear in saying that we would melt if we fell in....... I had a few free facials from the steam.
3 geezers, but we didn't see them doing anything spectacular.
Headed off to the Coromandel Peninsula for the end of our holiday.
