Shakespeare Ghost Town

Hello New Mexico! Staying at a Harvest Host near Lordsburg, NM. Rolled through at a unique and somber moment. At the time, we didn’t know what it was for but it was a memorial for a recently fallen officer that was shot on I-10. The entire town lined the streets like a parade. Cars and trucks with American flags, officers in uniform, all emergency vehicles lined up with flashing lights in honor and respect. ❤️❤️❤️ The ghost town HH stay has proven itself to be more than anticipated too.
