Day 3

Got the first bus from Ljubljana to Lkae Bohinj this morning (busses are very much first come, first served, and people get quite intense about it). It ended up taking 3 hours but so worth it. Lake Bohinj is stunning.
I walked down to my hostel (about a mile out from the bus stop) and was able to leave my bag there and grab some food. As I still had a couple of hours until I could check in, I started walking. Ended up walking the whole way around the lake. I love it (though my little toe did not like the 12km walk so much). I got back to the hostel, checked in and headed straight to the lake to read/sunbath/swim. The water is ridiculously clear. After a very beige dinner I went back to the lake, hoping to see the sunset. It was pretty but not full on sunset, but I did get to speak to Dan while I was down there.Baca selengkapnya
