Steps??
A lazy morning with pancakes by the river for breakfast and Greek for lunch (also sat by the river) and more walking around the city and reading in different places before being collected for a trip out of the city.
The trip was to Predjama castle and Postojana caves. Randomly, our guide went to St Anselm's in Canterbury and his mum was from Broadstairs.
The castle was cool (in both senses), it is built into the mouth of a cave with 14km of caves behind it.
The caves where impressive, though it felt a bit like being herded around like cattle as there were so many of us. We were put on a little train to take us about 1.5km into the caves, walk a bit with a guide (and a massive group) then back on the train. The caves stay at 10° all year, which after the heat of the last few days was refreshing. They have a type of salamander that lives there, called baby dragons, they are blind, can not eat for up to 10 years and live up to 100.
Back in Ljubljana, I had goulash for dinner at a restaurant in old town before heading back to sort myself out for heading home tomorrow.
