    after the Monkey Park, we went down again, crossed the Bridge to the Tenryu-ji Temple (Temple of the Heavenly Dragon) and his Zen Garden, located in the Sagano district of Kyoto, is the head temple of the Tenryū-ji branch of Rinzai Zen Buddhism. It was established in 1339 by the shogun Ashikaga Takauji in memory of Emperor Go-Daigo, who died in Yoshino following the civil war that brought the Ashikaga family to power. sadly there was not that many time left, because in Japan all the Temples close at 5 pm, so we decided to skip the inside of the Temple and just walk through the Zen Garden, till they close, it was really nice…Read more
