Day 1 is officially done.

Just found a bed. Wanted to keep going; but had to stop. I felt water fill my shoe and thought it was blood. Nope. Just one of four blisters that popped in my shoe. Just water. Time to drain, clean and bandaid my booboos. Then get back on the road tomorrow. 16.2 miles today. On my way! Bom Camino. Ay, bendito to my feet.Read more

TravelerLikely. But I’m committed. And I’m wearing two pairs of wool socks. One with toes and one without to keep from getting toe blisters. Tomorrow I start with Vaseline all over them. But I shall keep going! We shall see what tomorrow brings.
