Freiberg im Breisgau, Germany

Returned to Germany and rode through the southern part of the Black Forest. A tough climb led to a long scenic descent to Freiberg. Our hosts Martin and Elisa (originally from Argentina) cooked a delicious cheesy/mushroom pasta for us. We sat on the balcony chatting until dark. Lisa saw a cute fox today and we took a mid-day hike in the Black Forest. We stopped at a little microbrewery in town and one of the owners (Julian) happened to be there and let us buy a few beers even though they weren’t open, Thanks Martin and Elisa for giving us you bedroom, we had an awesome night of sleep!Read more
