As we left our hotel we faced an immediate sign for a West Highland Way diversion....so we started off on the Rob Roy route and then diversion continued until we were on the road to Balmaha 🤬

Beer, wine, sleeping tablets & heat packs on my hips meant I slept very well but apparently on my back (due to sore hips I suspect) so Brett had to put up with me snoring badly 🤷🏼♀️

The bunkhouse - it's an ex chapel built by Irish workers who were working on the dam nearby. The food is glorious - onion, cider & thyme soup followed by venison stew with dumplings and spuds - I'mLeia mais

ViajanteEek - looks quite challenging terrain. I did the first stage of Queen Charlotte walk yesterday, about 11 miles. Enjoyable walk but wouldn't fancy doing it all over again today - I'm rather creaky!!
