Mon Mar 26 - Beijing

Up at 6 for breakfast and on the bus at 8. Rode bus to Summer Palace. There was a lake and palace built by the empress. Walked the Great Wall and had icecream after. Also had a rickshaw ride to the old heritage part of town. Strolled the Snack Street. Very entertaining. Lots of scorpions and silk worms available for snacking. We were advised not to taste and followed that advise.Read more
