Rest day in Granada

D: It’s a strange shift from mountains and villages to a big urban centre. We really like Grenada, where the plazas in the old town flow from one to another (some similarities to Barcelona, minus the Gaudi). It’s Saturday, and everyone is dressed well and out enjoying the sun and the social spaces.

We were unable to get tickets for La Alhambra (a well preserved Islamic heritage site and the city’s main tourist draw) as tickets are booked up weeks in advance. But we will likely be here again.Leggi altro
