Day 7

Delightful day where we went to the small lake Orta- a very pretty and tranquil lake . We first took a boat trip to a very small island that had only a convent and then took the boat to Orta San Guilo. A very pretty village . We climbed the hill and saw a number of chapels dedicated to St Francis of Assisi ( there are 27 but we only went in 7 - all very similar !) . Had a nice lunch . Then went to see the statue of San Carlo Borromeo. Very impressive and great views . Today the lakes looked blue which I was hoping to see.Baca lagi
