    After two days in El Nido (Province of Palawan), we rented scooters for a 3 days trip in the north of the island. The first day, we left from El Nido to the north by the east road and made a stop at the Nacpan beach before continuing our way to a small village in the Daracotan bay.Read more

    For the return trip to El Nido, we decided to take the most direct route on the map from Sibaltan so as not to take the outbound route in the opposite direction. Google Map however indicated us to take the northern road we had taken 3 days before. The result of our decision in picture below. After a few kilometres, the road we took stopped, leaving a dirt road sometimes muddy with a ford. The road back, which should have been shorter, turned out to be much longer while we had already booked the ferry from El Nido to Busuanga Island.Read more

    After a few days spent in Bohol, we continued our trip on the peninsula of Panglao where I had the opportunity to do my open water diving license. The reef, about 100m away from the famous Alona beach, is still very well preserved and not too frequented. Other dive spots are accessible from Panglao, especially around the island of Balicasar where turtles and Jack fish schools can be seen.Read more
